Major Interview Recording Contract for NSW Police

The Company won this large and challenging contract with the assistance of the Government’s UK Trade and Investment organisation to equip the New South Wales Police with the very latest in DVD interview recorders.

This unique model, developed by David Horn Communications to the exacting requirements of the Australian Police, was taken from conception through to the delivery of over 250 systems in a matter of just a few months.

Based around the Company’s new range of MultiStream DVD interview recorders the Australian model included: triple DVD slot-drives, an integral wide angle camera, stereo microphones, status screen and a large colour monitor (normally off during recording). On interview completion, DVDs finalise followed by an automatic 10 second replay of each disc for confirmation.

Facility for remote monitoring is provided for via a dedicated web interface which also provides system set-up data, remote diagnostics and system upgrades.
